Distributed ledger technology provider CULedger has rebranded its decentralized, digital ID solution from MyCUiD to MemberPass. We invited CULedger Chief Experience Officer Julie Esser on the program to give us an inside look at why the CUSO changed the name.
In addition, Julie discussed the success of last year’s pilot programs with Unify Financial Credit Union, Desert Financial Credit Union, and TruWest Credit Union — and how feedback from these pilots have made MemberPass (formerly MyCUiD) a much better decentralized, digital identity solution for credit unions moving forward.
Lastly, Julie talked about how credit unions can take advantage of a recent Barclaycard prediction that by 2022, 40% of all customer interactions will be based on a decentralized identity. Definitely a motivating number to research for your credit union for proper positioning in the next couple of years.
